About Mark Deal and Associates, P.C.
What We Do
Our company markets a broad range of land
surveying and mapping services to a very
specific market segment.
Our clients define the key points in our
market segment. We believe that success lies
in developing and maintaining relationships
with professionals who are repeat buyers of
land surveying services. These professionals
recognize the value of a consistent business
relationship with a quality leader, rather than
selecting a consultant on the basis of price.
What We Do
We are registered to practice in the
states of Oklahoma, Texas, and
Kansas. Fundamentally, we provide land
surveying and mapping services. The end
result of this work is typically a map
(which can be either digital or paper
based), or a report. For many clients,
this final result is a necessary ingredient
in providing services to their clients.
Design Professionals such as architects
or engineers need a tract of land to be
surveyed before designs can be made.
This type of survey focuses on mapping
of planimetric and topographic features,
which are unique to that tract of land.
Planimetric features are items such as a
building, sidewalks, utility structures,
parking areas, etc. Topographic features
are those items which have an elevation
component associated with them. The
degree and extent of the surface slope
of a tract of land is such an example.
Attorneys, lenders, and title insurers
make use of what are known as land title
surveys. These surveys typically show
planimetric features, access to public
roads, utilities, and the physical location
of easements, shared use agreements,
and other legal matters of record which
can have an affect on a tract of land.
While we provide many topographic and
land title surveys, the scope of our
services is extensive. We are in the
business of providing and interpreting
spatial information.
Mark Deal and Associates, P.C., carries full
coverage of all necessary insurance:
Professional Liability, Workmen's
Compensation, and General Liability.
It should also be noted that the majority of
Land Surveying firms in our market area do
not carry Professional Liability Insurance
(commonly referred to as Errors and
Omissions Insurance). They believe that as
long as they do not have this insurance, no
one will bring legal action against them if
they make a mistake.
At our firm, we recognize our ethical and
moral responsibility to ensure that our clients
are protected in the unlikely event that they
are damaged as a result of our actions. We
believe it is the right way to do business.
