River Surveys are highly complicated riparian survey would be one that
related to and/or identified the banks of rivers or streams. The term riparian
is also used in connection with lakes or other considerable bodies of water,
although the correct term for them is 'littoral', therefore surveys connected
with the banks of lakes and seas are littoral surveys. Riparian or Littoral Right
Surveys would be those that attempt to identify, quantify, or locate the extent
of land or use rights pertaining to rivers, streams, lakes, seas, or oceans.
